In case anybody asks, 20 minutes of drying out in an office, while eating McDonald’s (Gimme back that Filet o’ Fish, Gimme that fish!!), and toning and cropping photos for The Hour is simply not enough time … I’m still damp as I head to the boys lacrosse game at Ridgefield.

However, loyal blogger that I am, I decided to do a quick update on the girls game.

Final score from a rain-soaked St. Joseph: Warriors 21, Cadets 1 (And it wasn’t that close).

The one-two punch of Kacie Johnson (8 goals, 2 assists) and Brooke Flanagan (7 goals, 4 assists) simply dominated from start to finish as Wilton moved to 2-0 on the year.

More to come later, including a full game story on the Wilton Villager Web site.

For now, Tiger Hollow Stadium here I come … you’ll hear my boots squishing on the way.
